Diner en Blanc Raleigh is proud to announce Favor Desserts as the Official Dessert vendor for its seventh edition, bringing one of the Triangle's most celebrated bakeries, and one of its most inspiring entrepreneurs to the region's most elegant evening of the year.

Returning on September 26, 2026, Diner en Blanc Raleigh is part of the internationally renowned, invitation-only pop-up dining experience that unites hundreds of guests, all dressed in white, at a secret location revealed only on the day of the event. This year's guests will gather under the theme "Une Soirée Parisienne — La Belle Époque," an homage to the golden age of Parisian elegance. And no Parisian soirée would be complete without an exceptional sweet finish.

Favor Desserts, led by founder Keijuane Hester, is known throughout the Raleigh-Durham area as "The Cake Man." A Durham native and Hillside High School graduate, Hester built Favor Desserts from a single carrot cake recipe into a storefront bakery that today serves more than 1,000 customers a week and offers over 30 signature flavors. From his famous Five Flavor Pound cake to Red Velvet and Carrot cakes, they’re so good that regulars can no longer pick a favorite.

But Hester's story is about far more than baking. A baker, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker, he draws on a remarkable personal transformation, one that has taken him from a difficult past to a life of purpose, service, and community leadership. He speaks to students about setting and chasing their dreams, and to those working to turn their lives around about the power of second chances. "It's not the tool of baking I want to be known by," Hester says. "I want to be known by the transformation that has taken place in my life."
